thanks for the constructive criticism,on "Out Of Stone", I agree it is a bit over exposed I was trying to get the foreground tree to stand out a bit from the background and I may have tweaked the contrast too much and I did use a filtering program to get some of the grainy look out but I took it as far as I could without losing detail. thanks again, I think I apreciate comments such as yours more than the "great job, thanks for sharing" type.

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings: And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill. That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes. We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not. Yet so the universe was wrought . Thought is another name for fate. Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.

Hey there! Thanks for the help with resizing in PS, helped a bunch. Also thanks for the constructive criticism that you provide...it's really hard to get an honest objective opinion these days. Your comments are both refreshing and helpful to the novice photographer like myself.

I see that you are referred to as the King of Caedes. Your Purple When Wet flowers are asters, I believe. My flower is a cosmos. Did it appear to be purple on your monitor because it is pink? Thank you for your comments on my recent posts. I really appreciate the time you take to make observations and comments. Cindy

We learn new things all the time, lol. No wonder so many friends were curious to see "mating dragonflies". The "position" in my photo is called the "mating wheel". Now, you can verify if this what biology teacher once told you was true ;)

P.S. I strongly discourage anyone from doing ummmm such an acrobatic act or else an osteopath may be needed

Jeremi mate!.....sincere thanks for those kind words to 'Fancy Crook Stick'.....I can now put these back into storage!.........Nice of you to click on the 'link' in Terri's post to this!.....I had sent her a set of 'Miniatures' and they are only 6 inches tall....there was more swearing and anger in making those! than in making the 'Full size ones!........Those tiny 'handles' are about 1/2 an inch!...I had to make a 'special' clamp to hold them..while carving!

What kinda 'hats' to you wear then!

I am very grateful for all the kind replies that I have had for these!.......A Big Thank You....Bob

Jeremi, Thanks for the comment on the post I'll take two tickets to paradise.I'd like to think I had planned the results, the blue tint, the bikes being the only color. But it came out of the camera that way (with a little cropping),opps just noticed original cropped area had lots of color lol maybe I did plan it...just no PS manipulation. Jas

Hello Jeremi! Thanks for the nice comments on my Fall State Fair 3. This image was manipulated a little bit. The Zipper didn't have lights on one end so I had to merge parts of several photos to fill in the circle. That family walked into the photo and stood there long enough to become part of this image. I'm glad that you enjoyed it.

Thanks for your comment on my skyline shot. I don't remember there being a light show but it was quite awhile ago so there very well could have been. Esspcially considerng it was stampede (huge outdoor rodeo/midway/other stuff) week when i took that one. As far as a bay, if you are speaking of a large body of water type bay, then there definitly is not one of those. Calgary is very much landlocked. No ocean for atleast an 8 hour drive.

Gracious thanks for your kind words to Andalusia capture.

Just a few hours from bustling Costa del Sol, there lies another Spain that hasn’t changed in generations. There you can discover White Cities usually situated on the hills or mountain slopes with whitewashed houses, cobbled streets and Moorish castles or mysterious ruins towering over the area. We hired the car to explore some of them.
