Hi Linda. I'm glad you liked "Cats In Boats." I shoot a lot of photos and I upload a lot of photos (As I'm sure you noticed), and coming up with interesting and accurate names is sometimes difficult. A good and appropriate name can actually make a difference in how people perceive an image. "Cats In Boats", however just named itself, and being a cat owner for many years, I felt a kinship with these feral animals basking in the late afternoon sun.

Linda, many thanks for your comment on Spirit of the Marsh. Glad you liked it. There is a rather large colony of Great Blue Herons which lives not far from here, so we have many opportunities to see them beginning about this time of the year.

Hi Linda...thanks a lot for stopping by to comment on The Wind...glad you liked it enough to download...that's O.K. if you don't like the frame...frankly, I prefer a full view to framed pics also, but as I mentioned in my description, I posted this photo last year with a poem, so this year decided to do it differently...also, I mainly added the frame because the pic was only 800 x 600 and a lot prefer larger...I see you are fairly new here, so welcome from me too.:Pat.

I'm so glad that you liked the image - it hasn't gotten much notice lately, so it's doubly gratifying to see your comment. I have many fond memories of that bridge.
