Hi there Mikuei, thanks so much for visiting my gallery and the warm words you left on ~midnight madness~that is the first ever manipulation that I did and I am glad that you liked the results! Drop by anytime, the gallery door is always open!! :~)
hey, thanks for leaving a comment on "hidden place".
To answer your question, the main reason why I don't post original photo's, and manipulate them instead with photoshop, is because of the poor quality of my camera. I often find the colors lacking in intensity with the original shot... and well, I like manipulating photo too^^. I can understand though, why not everyone may not like photo manip^^. thanks anyway for giving me an honest opinion^^
So good to know you devoted some time and attention to look at my "waiting for a sunbeam" image and left some kind words. The photo was taken in panoramic mode and then stitched. Glad you liked the result.
I've been away for a while, computer problems, and heavy workload. Computer is now up to snuff, and I back browsing the wonders of Caedes photos albums.
Thanks all of you who upload wonderful photos.
Your pictures are beautiful, but I bet they would be even nicer if just posted without diddling with them; just post the picture as shot. Why do all you great photographers think you can make them better by modifying them with a photo editer?
This is dumb and dumber!
Thanks for your comments on 'Backwater Bridge' very much appreciated. If we didn't mess with them they would look like everyone elses pics. Keep in mind all the pros are Photoshop experts and for good reason. Also keep in mind your camera does not properly sharpen a picture and leaves behind a lot of hidden detail. I did three of this particular pic, this one being Orton's Imagery. There is an HDR and original in my gallery as well. You would be astonished at what a few well placed tweaks can do. The original is just the potential of what the picture can be. I shoot in RAW format so every picture MUST be tweaked. The RAW image is like a digital negative. I would never post the Raw original. I would shoot JPEG instead but there is far more detail in the RAW image. The trick is working that detail into the final image.
