I was curious to find out more about you after I had commented on your Rocky Shore image. You are pretty new on this site and let me tell you that I find you pretty good too :-)) Great work from you so far, I really look forward seeing more from you and I hope you will enjoy this site as much as I do. Keep up your good work....
Thank you Bernd! My friend sent me this website and I absolutely love it!! Then I thought, I love taking pictures - why not try to post some! I never thought people would actually download mine, let alone take the time to comment :) So thank you!
Welcome to caedes (well who am I to say this as I am new too :P). Usually people kinda "take their first steps" and send pictures that need fixing but you started straight with the high quality work. Nice job.
Kia Ora Elizabeth, I am pleased you enjoyed Aquamarine and than you for leaving such a nice comment. Your gallery you should be proud of. Rocky Shore I like exceptionally well, it is a beauty :)
thank you so much for leaving me a comment on "Making Faces". I am glad you liked it and was happy to find a comment on one of my images after such a long time. I haven't taken much pictures last year and haven't visited this site too often. So it was a really nice surprise to find your comment today.
Keep up your good and creative work and please keep being picky and insiting on quality - I really appreciate that and like your work. Hope you don't mind when I give you a general advice at this point. I suggest to always check and maybe enhance the contrast of your pictures. It's not because I want to tell you that your pictures need it but I have made the experience that many digital cameras have got their problems with that. It is quite easy to adjust with a suitable software - you only need a good eye and a good monitor. Well, just try it out....
All the best to you and thank you once again,
Bernd
"To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy."

Hi Elizabeth. Thanks for your kind comments on Blue Lupine. Much appreciated. I'm an amateur as well but just got my first digital SLR and want to learn as much as possible.
Several of my photos are available for purchase in larger format at Shutterpoint, and some are also available in high quality framed prints at http://djholmes.imagekind.com/
thank you so much for your constant support and your nice words on some of my images. It really means a lot and I am glad that you like my photos enough to leave me such wonderful comments.
This reminds me of visiting YOUR gallery as I have always found your work very good. I'm sure to find some "preciosos" there. Thank you once again, Elizabeth, I really appreciate your time and words.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on "Crazy Face"! You're going to have to stop by again soon because I'm going to be posting more pictures from the Fort.
Hi Elizabeth, sending you a belated but very sincere thanks for visiting my gallery recently, your feedback is greatly appreciated Love and blessings, Kelcey.
Hi Elizabeth. Many thanks for your comments on my photo Next Stop Denmark. Apologies for taking so long to acknowledge these, but we have been away from home a lot, often in remote areas with no internet access. Barry.
