1st place
A Rose in Winter by trixxie17

corngrowth: Kathy, to me it was hard to believe the lyrics of this song, but your post has proved that I'm wrong, lol.

A splendid and very appropriate entry for the current contest. If you decide that it will be your entry, Good Luck with it my friend.

2nd place
Golden Leaf by Constance52347

Dunstickin: Brilliant and simple...but this image has a lot of volume and interest!..

I will be amazed if this is not in the winners column!

0930_23: This would make a good contest entry Constance. I really like the shadows.

Fall is almost over by ted3020

susanlynn: Leaves are so lovely in all of their stages; this one has some very special colors and characteristics, Ted. Nice find.

corngrowth: Perfectly done!
Simple but beautiful post Ted.
Would be an excellent entry of the current 'Minimalist' contest.
Could be a winner!!

4th place
Minimalist by rvdb

corngrowth: Rob, referring to Connie's comment above: she was the one that has suggested to be the 'Minimalist' the contest topic.

In her motivation she has provided us with a link in which was explained how to 'read' the 'Minimalist' subject.

In brief: it must be an image with only a few essential elements of life and cast unnecessary things aside.

I agree with Connie that your artwork has this qualification, so, to me you've succeeded in meeting the contest topic very well my friend!

Good Luck with it!

5th place
'Nutshell' by corngrowth

LynEve: A splendid photo Cornelius. I especially love the sparkle of the water.
Best of luck in the contest and thanks for adding it to the BWC as well :)

Ramad: Also here the b/w image with the wide stretch of water and the single yacht make this a very suitable entry for the contest Cornelius.
