This past weekend I took my small family to the 95th birthday celebration for my mother-in-law, and instead of the worn out (and only) motel in that small town, we rented a yurt in a nearby state park. Much more fun. It was there that I captured the essential difference between my 43-year-old son and my 10-year-old granddaughter (some of you know her as Bella). In this case my son had the imagination to bring and install his two hammocks between the trees, but not the energy or play imagination (she imagined that she was an anthropomorphic pea-in-a-pod) of Bella.
