This is just a suggestion - not a complaint. I feel that there should be a way which makes it possible for the sender to re-read the message he/she has sent - sometimes one wants to check what he/she wrote but there seems to be no way unless you copy and keep it somewhere else. Any comments most welcome.

Personally I take a screenshot of the massage and save on my HD.
Letter from..... Answer to ..... and save it in a folder "Letter from/to caedes".

I keep all mine in a word document.

I agree that it would be easier if we could save them somewhere in our profile or something, though.

And when you're answering a message, it's useful to be able to refer back to the message you're replying to. I do this currently by opening my response in a second tab.

Just an extra question like "Store this message?" when you try to delete it may also be helpful by giving you the option to delete or store.

That sounds like a good idea to me, to be able to have it stored somewhere on site. Sometimes I don't think to save my messages, and when my friend replies I've forgotten what the message was about. LOL!

Me too Larry, especially if it's several hours or even a couple of days between replies.

To further what tootles said, maybe some kind of "reply" button at the bottom of every PM & when you clicked it, another tab opened up that you could write your reply in, & still see what you were replying to.
That would definitely be a handy dandy little addition to the site & I think people would really appreciate it. I know I would ! :D

That sounds good to me too Lauren. Kind of like the noting system on DevArt. You never forget what was said and you can save all or as many messages as you like. =)
