*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

& Prince as a late new entry with his new opus Planet Earth havent heard it yet but hes giving it away free with the morning paper today and to anyone who goes to his summer month long gig in London. Top stunt to generate PR and annoy the hell out of music retailers all at the same time. Top work strange little purple fella.
Well .. I just wanna go on the record that I think this is a Government plot to fill out just one more data sheet for our dossiers .. when they kick in my door, and haul me away (for what?, I dunno) they are going to BLAST Voodoo Chile at me, like they did for Noriega
here goes ..
Doobie Bros : The Captain & Me (1973) .. (I cried when they finally completed that freeway overpass .. 20 years later)
Pink Floyd : Wish You Were Here (1976)
Led Zeppelin : One (1969)
but only because I didn't want to list .. Neil Sedaka, Barry Manilow & Kiki Dee
Use your own definition third eye. CD, album, cassette, 8 track tape, reel to reel, An album is a collection of ones works that they have done in there lifetime, just like a photo album of pictures. Why do topics get so complicated on this site? What part of "Your top 3 Albums" don't you understand?
a lot of numbers of Queen ( to much to write them all down)
monday monday- Pappa and the Mamma's
Tusk- Fleetwood Mac (actually the whole album is great)
Carrying on with my own particular choices of seminal and/or noteworthy albums ...
"Autobahn" - Kraftwerk
"The Unforgettable Fire" - U2 (Recorded, produced and engineered by one of my very own hometown boys ... Daniel Lanois.)
"Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness" - Smashing Pumpkins
Fleetwood Mac=Rumours (tied with self titled album)
Pink Floyd=Dark Side of the Moon (best listened to on VINYL!!)
and another tie
Jimmy Buffett-Songs you know by Heart (decision making gives me a headache, especially with JB having a gazillion good albums out)
The Eagles=Greatest Hits Vol I and II (as I cannot decide on ONE album)
HONORABLE MENTION::
The Clash=London Calling
...and I agree with Cat...only THREE??? I will probably add, as there are WAY MORE than just 3 good albums!!!
Les, The Unforgetable Fire is really good, BUT...Joshua Tree and War kicked @ss!! And Keith, you better not be dissin' Barry Manilow!!! Or I may just have to kick YOUR butt!! I have Barry's box set...just ask my mom...she is still trying to remember if some Fanilow left me on her doorstep, and she found me...and had her memory altered to think she went through labor.
My 3 favorites reveals my age since I span the centuries but 1. Dark Side of the Moon (Pink Floyd) 2. Purple Rain (Prince) 3. Meet the Beatles (Beatles). A little sidebar...saw them in concert in Hollywood at the Hollywood Bowl when they arrived by helicopter in the Bowl. Those were the good ole dayz.
"Let us forever cherish and hold sacred these moments...for it is our undoing ...should we forget..." -William Shakespeare ... Visit Jhihmoac's Gallery
3 more of my favorites...King Crimson - In The Court Of The Crimson King, Manfred Mann's Earth Band - Solar Fire, Supertramp - Even in the quietest moments....
Hey there Mister Madman, wat'cha know that I don't know
Tell me some crazy stories, let me know who runs this show
Glassy-eyed and laughing, he turns and walks away
Tell me what made you that way
