Sunbeams by DigiCamMan has been selected as this week's Image of the Week!
This is excellent use of HDR - it allows the viewer to see all the aspects that the photographer was seeing with the naked eye. The scale is excellent. One can see how big the mountains are by comparing how very tiny the tress on the top appears. The pops of the color by the Aspens warms what would be a gray day. What really catches the eye is the "hole" in the sky with the rays appearing from it. That allows for great shadows from the mountains, the ledges in the mountains, and accentuates the river current beautifully.
Nominations are now open for all images uploaded between 12 am (0000 hours) EST on 02/11 (Garage Sale) to 11:59 pm (23:59 hours) EST 02/17! Nominations will remain open until 8 pm (2000 hours) EST on 02/19 (Aechmea Bromeliad).
To nominate an image, either post your nomination here or PM myself, Mimi, or Piner.
On Weds 02/20, this thread will be updated with the image selected as the standout of the week!
