"they may not apply"? Hmmm, y'know, I decided to do a simple search of past submitted imagery, using "Autumn" and "Fall" as my search words (besides, I knew my old buddy "tealeaves" Lori had a gorgeous Autumn fractal) and found this one, and this one, and this one, aaaaaand this one, none of which are photographs. I know there are places that do not experience a colorful fall the way we do, here in North Dakota, with our four very distinct seasons, but while I was doing a search using "Fall", far more waterfalls were in the list than images of fall colors... so why can't the theme of "Fall Glory" encompass both, fall colors and/or waterfalls? May the best looker win?
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
Calling for donations to get me to somewhere in the world where it is Fall or as I would call it, Autumn ! I am thinking the meaning of the suggestion is the season and not the water falling type but like Nik can see no reason why either could not be used. I would suggest Spring Delights but there are only a very small number of us enjoying Spring right now so I guess in this instance majority rules.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
And I suggest: Bokeh and beautiful blur. The name actually comes from the Japanese word for blur or haze: boke. All you need to know is that bokeh is the aesthetic quality of out-of-focus blur in a photograph.
Surely any subject could be deemed unavailable for some and that's why it should be THE VOTES alone that should decide the subjects and winners NOT someone's opinion that it may or may not be all inclusive!
