I think we have enough of the pandemic, why a contest in relation to it?

At this time of year..I have selected 'Spring'..maybe to brighten up this sad chapter in our lives...

Sorry to disagree with whoever proposed a theme "Pandemic related". There is nothing pleasant about Pandemic. What we need now is something pleasant/funny to take our minds off all that misery.

I apologize if I offended anyone when I recommended the Pandemic related topic for the contest. My intent was to have people post something personal about how they are dealing with the terrible virus while being locked up at home. I can see everyone's point about how they don't want to be reminded of these terrible days. However, I have read some heartwarming stories about how people are coping. Again, sorry if I offended anyone. I felt an explanation and who suggested the contest was warranted.

No need for apologizes Tick. I think you had a good idea. For instance the Wife and I started to build a 2000 Piece Collage Puzzle which I had made out of 12 different images which I captured over the years. 10 are small 5x7 images off to the left side with 3/4 inch white edge borders between each image. Two rows of 5. Then the Right side consist of two images one atop the other.
The bottom image is 10x21 and the top is the BIG Swamp Image, 16x21. The total size is roughly 35+ x 27+. We started working on it March 24th. We now have about 75% of it done. Time spent on it......roughly 100 hours EACH. 200 Total. Contest worthy or not I will post it when done. Thanks for explanation above and stay well.

I see your point Tick but here one has to post an image which suits the theme. What you meant would have been better suited for the Discussion Board.

Now I understand what your thought was, but I was not offended, just did not understand. I still feel the same way though, sorry to disagree.
