I know we did a "What is it?" themed contest before (I just went back in the News and counted back 23 contests until I reached the previous "What Is It?" contest) but I thought it provided a lot more fun than the usual themes, with members not only getting to submit some truly unusual images but also got a kick out of trying to figure out what everyone else's images were (I know I was completely stumped on several). That contest also garned a larger number of submissions than those that followed. Just a thought.
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
Nature's perfect shape/shapes can be a perfectly shaped flower, fruit, leaf, hill anything that has an almost perfect symmetrical shape. I think it won't be difficult to find a subject with that quality.
I like the above options too, but I was thinking since Spring is just around the corner it might be nice to see some of the new plants or baby animals that come with the season.
I agree with Nik. "What is it?" can never be dull! The last time "What is it?" was done, I wasn't submitting images yet and I know there have been a lot of other new members since I started. They might also enjoy being a part of this contest. It sounds like a lot of fun!
