Any image means... to me [and this is my proposal]... that a blend (layered work!) or collage of pictures would be fine (covering the camera people)... or any image created by a graphics person here at Caedes! ☺
How's that for including everyone... and placing emphasis on the graphics community!??
If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.
It will be helpful if the person who proposes a theme also writes here what he/she means by that theme. "I am dreaming of a white Christmas" can also be a vision.
I'm exclusively a photographer but I've seen plenty of fractals and a number of computer-generated art that looks like it's in motion. Like Chad, I don't remember seeing a "motion" contest either, but it could cover a number of genres and mediums. In terms of graphics, I remember a cubist painting from a college Art History class that represented motion very well, "Nude Descending a Staircase" by Duchamp, so the "motion" theme would not be restricted to photos only.

I did recently see a gorgeous fractal crafted by "dainbramage" (Home of the Ancients, that really deserves more comments than it's gotten) and a couple computer images, in the past, that included fog or a haze in them. It will be interesting to see if anything other than photos are submitted to a "fog" themed contest.
