I have had a few requests to repost this photo. I got a little carried away with my spring cleaning in the gallery. I didn't realize the ones in the permanent gallery would be deleted as well.

My friend was kind enough to swim his horse across his pond during the photo session. I thought about doing this in the portrait mode but I liked the look of the ripples and water in the negative space. I also have one of this in B/W and it looks good to me. There was something about the color and the reflection that caused me to post it in this manner. I cropped it tight at the top so I would have all water in the shot. I hope you enjoy it somewhat.

This photo ended up winning the Picture Missouri photo contest sponsored by the Missouri Department of Tourism and many of you were responsible for helping with the voting. Thank You.

Still one of my favorites, TicK, but not as good as the Amish buggy.

Before you went crazy and deleted your gallery, I meant to tell you that I tried to nominate the Amish Buggy shot for the AC, but I couldn't. I know I had two nominations available, but the box wasn't available on that shot. I went back for weeks and couldn't nominate it.

It is a beautiful photograph Tick. The reflection and the ripples behind the rider look wonderful. Some photos one recognizes immediately. This is one of them.
