I figure I will hear from the SS (Sheepherder's Society) for this not being politically correct. I realize a bunch of sheep are known as a flock but Sheep Flock of the Hills just didn't have the same ring to it. Especially for a Missourian. Normally I just post one photo when shooting a type of scene, but I will probably post a couple more of this one. I wanted to start off with a panorama to show the lay of the land. I also didn't want to tick off any sheep.
This consists of three shots. Each shot was 4928 x 3264. They were photomerged in CS5 and instead of cropping I used the Contact Aware fill to get as much height as possible. The merged images final was 8510 x 3487. I wanted to show how good the Nikon D7000 is controlling noise so the only editing was adjusting the levels, a bit of unsharp mask and just a dab of contrast
Exif Info: Nikon D7000, Nikkor 18-105mm lens, Shutter Speed-250, Aperture F14, Aperture Priority, ISO 200, Auto White Balance and Focal Length 42mm.There weren't any lines to clone out so I didn't clone any in. Hopefully you will like the landscape with the rolling hills. The sheep will get their turn in the next post.
You missed a line that could have been cloned out. There's an arc line running across the top of the scene through the clouds, most noticeable on the top left side.
A good capture with the D7000 and a fine looking panorama photo. Good composition of the scene and nice details in the photo. Great work Tick.
