My grandson's found this moth before they went back to school and brought him over for a photo session. The Owd Timer has me working with layers to see what I can do. I am not nearly in his class, but admit I am having some fun. There are several different textured layers blended in this one. I wanted it to stand out but also to be somewhat understated. Hope you enjoy.

Really great work Tick! The layers are perfect for this image. I like the background color that blends so well with the moth, the antiquing and the vignette.

It's an understated stand out, Mr. Tick... One might think the background, being the same kind of color as the moth, would make it disappear, but somehow the moth really does stand out in its surroundings...

I love both the textures 'and' the text layers!...

you done an amazing job here..letting you know I kept this too

You made it look as if it was 'pressed' between the pages of an old book that has weathered through time!

Brilliant!!!!

I have tried this a few times, but I am not having much luck so far, in getting the textures to look right. I think I will probably stick to the non textured format. LOL. Beautiful job here, Tick. Love the handwriting texture.

You squished this one so good it became one with the paper after you swatted it. Too bad you ruined the grandson's Latin homework in the process.
Neat work and a grand image, Tick.
