I know it doesn't have Monument Valley, Native Americans, United State Cavalry or a Fort, but it does have some yellow and there are horses. Besides, I'm a John Wayne fan and I don't foresee a trip out west anytime soon. She Wore A Yellow Ribbon is one of my favorite movies and you can check it out here.

The movie is one of the Cavalry Trilogies directed by John Ford and starring John Wayne, among others. The other two movies are Fort Apache and Rio Grande. I loved them all.

This is my contribution to this week's SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE MOVIES. Hope you like the scene I shot.

Thank you, Tick, for this submission for SNATM...a lovely pastoral scene and fits the title very nicely...I recognize the movie title tho' don't recall if I've seen this one...I've seen so many over the years...but I like John Wayne too so I probably did.

Peaceful and beautiful sight to see the horses and the green landscape with the little yellow flowers Tick. By the way do you still talk to the horses ? :)

A very lovely scene - I don't believe I've seen that film but surely heard of it as my late father was a huge John Wayne fan.

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), in my childhood days John Wayne was my hero, and and he still is today to a certain extent.
Therefore I appreciate your contribution for the SNATM-theme (🎥) that much, 👍!
Carol has hit the nail at its head, so I agree with her comment for more than 100%!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

A fine contribution this is Tick. I too am a John Wayne fan, just watched one of his movies the other night. This scene is why we moved where we did, there is a big horse pasture right next door. To see them run across the pasture is truly a thing of glorious delight.
