I was in Rochester, Minnesota several years ago and discovered this building. I was intrigued by the name of the Law Firm. Perhaps they don't pronounce it like I do. I thought it would work great for the movie The Firm. It was a good movie based on one of John Grisham's books. It starred Tom Cruise and one of my favorite actors Gene Hackman. You can read more about it here. It is my contribution to SNATM.

I think this law firm broke away for the firm of Dewey, Cheatem & Howe. The reflections in the lower windows are from a Jazz Mural across the street. I used it in a collage for a Caedes contest. You can see it here. I'm sure everyone has their favorite lawyer joke. Here are a couple:
What does a lawyer get when you give him Viagra? Taller
A lawyer is a gentleman who rescues your estate from your enemies and keeps it for himself. - Lord Brougham

Ha, ha, great capture and wonderful jokes. I suspect "Suk" is Korean and if so, would be pronounced alone the sounds of "S-oo-k."

Why is it that many lawyers have broken noses? From chasing parked ambulances.
What do you call a lawyer with an I.Q. of 50? Your honor.
What do you call a lawyer whose gone bad? Senator.

Who says there's no truth in advertising? That's as honest as you're going to get. And thanks for the Stooges reference too, I didn't remember that one. My grandfather was a real estate agent in North Hollywood in the 1930's & 40's and had business dealings with them. As a bonus or payment, they gave him a diamond and ruby ring, which is still in our family.

A few other officious titles used in their movies:
Proba, Keester & Wintz Proctologists
Ditcher, Quick & Hyde Divorce lawyers
Kickham, Harter & Indagroyne Personal injury attorneys

Fits the movie well Tick and it's rather unusual to see that color green on a red brick building.
