Epitaph For A Bluejay

I'm really not trying to make light of a situation, but there was recently a tragedy in my back yard. I found a Bluejay laying next to one of the windows of my perch where I take photos of the visitors. His neck appeared broken and I thought he had just flown into the window. It happens quite frequently. However, when going through my files I found this photo where a Bluejay seemed to be giving a dove the once-over. Could there be a jealous bluejay on the loose? The cause of death was changed from accidental to suspicious. An investigation is currently underway. A little bird told me that a female bluejay left yesterday for Canada. This could have been in the photojournalism gallery, but out of respect to the dove, I'm keeping it out of the mainstream news.

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), the complexity of this investigation isn't an easy task. I hope the investigative team will analyze the contents of the black box quickly and thoroughly. It's also recommended that an international investigation request will be circulated. If you had access to a photo of the female counterpart who fled to Canada, a so-called 'most wanted' poster would be made. I hope that this apparent case of bird crime will be clarified quickly.
