A Saturday Night At The Movies contribution. The title is from a song by Chuck Berry also known as School Day. This House Finch seems to be ready to ring the bell for all the other birds to get to school. I thought the late, great Chuck Berry might help get you started for the day.

This was taken with a wireless remote. I've been trying to set it up and I think I have the hang of it. The cord on my other remote (not wireless) isn't long enough to put the camera where I want and allow me to stay hidden. The only problem I have encountered is the camera keeps going to sleep after some inactivity. I have it where it is suppose to stay awake for 15 minutes, but I'm not sure it knows that. I will keep experimenting. In the meantime, I hope you all have a good weekend. School is closed.

Good one and a great idea...You can alter the settings on your camera so it 'doesn't go to sleep'..But your battery would drain quicker! I have similar here..(But not cordless)..my camera battery lasts for over 2-3 hours!...

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), my cameras are also equipped with a wireless remote control facility. Initially I also had some difficulty with that. I pressed the button on my remote control standing behind my camera. However, the sensor is on the front of the camera, so it didn't respond. In time, I discovered that the remote control should be held on the side or slightly in front of the camera. However, the manual did not provide a definite answer to this. So I can well imagine that you also experienced or are still experiencing some difficulties.
Judging by the result, I think the latter is no longer the case.
An excellent contribution to the SNATM theme (🎥).
Very well done again, 👍

Crystal clear sharpness in this - I don't see the house finches where I live now - I used to see them all the time. I do see a lot of goldfinch.
