The hummingbirds finally decided to check out my feeder. They are becoming more comfortable with me being around. Hopefully I will be able to improve my shooting of them, but wanted to post this one.
Given time, that bird will be humming with all its feedings at Tick's First Nature 3090 32 OZ Hummingbird Feeder! The best hummingbird feeder in the whole state of Missouri and parts of Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, and Kansas. Mr. Hummingbird will be joined by many of his feathered friends when word of this feeder makes the airwaves. Good luck, Tick, keeping the feeders feed!!!
Owd Fella Tick (OFT), this is a member of the HBTP (Hummingbird Test Panel). It tests your feeder and reports to the chairman of the HBTP. His findings are published in the HBJ (Hummingbird Journal). If the test result is positive, the visit to your feeder will intensify. An excellent opportunity to improve your shooting skills. In this case, I think you, in turn, will report (in a photographic manner) to Caedes. I'm already looking forward to that. Take care for a sufficient food supply, 😁 !

I agree with Tigs - humming birds can be difficult to shoot - you did well with this one and now that they know there's a feeder in your yard, they will be making frequent visits - Very Nicely Done Tick!!!
I want to see a humming bird before I die - this may be the closest I get ! NZ is devoid of these beauties. Not likely to be going far in the foreseeable. Thanks for this next best thing :)
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
