Meet MARF! My Side Kick and Most trusted Friend in the crazy world of espionage. MARF is a One Eyed, Half Eared, Three Legged Split Lipped Wired Hair Terrier. With all his Handicaps this makes MARF's other senses even more acute than any other K-9 alive. That is all I will disclose about my Better Half at this time. I truly hope that SAM and SAW will accept MARF into the Elite SOS K-9 Unit. I'm sure he'd make a Great Addition to the Squad not to mention he could keep a Keen EYE out for things others would probably miss. Have A Great Day! 00Jethro

Oh 00Jethro, what a wonderful picture of Marf, I like the action of his ears in this sweet shot of him. What a sweetie, animals learn to adapt, and go on. I'm curious of what happened to him, maybe that would be a secret mission. :) I know SAM will love him, I just hope she sees this. =^..^=SAS

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
Perhaps MARF was previously on an explosives detection mission. Or a sniffer for illegal narcotics. That would explain many things. Fun post EJ and an even better photo of this super K-9.

00Jethro, thanks for submitting this candid shot of your assistant and sidekick, MARF...a great closeup and cute canine...it is SAM'S decision, but I feel certain she would approve him for service in the K-9 Unit...clearly, this is a guy who doesn't just talk the talk but has also walked the walk, a survivor, all invaluable qualities to SOS...so, we await her arrival...meantime, I'll file this under 'favorites'.

It looks like MARF has put in a lot of time in as a FART already. (Fully Able Resourceful Terrier.) He has been scarred but not defeated. I'm sure he will be an asset to the SOS K-9 Unit.

00Jethro, on this side of the pond we have SAAB as a SAA of SAM.
When I read your narrative think it's wise to have a talented SAA like MARF on your side of the big pond as well, but I agree with SAW, it's SAM's decision.
Think my comment will be confusing for those who are not familiar with the SOS, but that's exactly the intention of it, lol.

Poor Marf. At least he has a good friend who cares for him. He has of course learned to take life as it comes. In many such cases the owner would have given up.

SAAB greets new co-agent from the headquarters and awaits common field missions [lol]!
