A very good exposure and composition Carolyn. The skewed angle is fitting in the loss of an innocent, something none of us really understands when there are so many predators alive whom no one might miss. The fallens leaves are particularly effective. anne :-)
Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
Yes, the startlingly tilted angle and the fallen leaves are effective as symbols, and the exposure is artistically done. I could do without the red border as it reminds me of blood and that seems a bit too much.
And then there are the tiny, but pretty, white flowers...perfect. Hope ever blossoms.
Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel.

As my friend Jerry says, I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.
Lovely presentation here Carolyn. Very clear and nicely composed and the leaves mark the passing of the seasons while the little white flowers say there is always a new season coming. Very nicely done and thanks for sharing this one.
Excellent Miss Bunnyslippers. This is a very sad but well executed capture. It is so sad when little children pass away . Thks for capturing this. Very clear and colorful. Well done.

My New Friend!
How sad to see a loving memory uncared for. Photography is excellent, but the subject matter holds the attention. At least he had a name. Well composed and presented.
There is little I can think of that's more tragic than parents burying a child. It's just not supposed to be that way. A lovely presentation Carolyn. Dignifying a forgotten soul.
I like the composition of this image. It is appropriate that the stone has fallen over. I only wish that there was someone who carried enogh to set it back up. Just two years ago I straightened up the headstone for my Great Grandparents headstones in Kentucky.
The name ChuPat is derived from my nickname Chuck and my wife of 34 years name Patti. Her photography will appear on Caedes as well from time to time. I consider myself an advanced amature not anyway close to being a professional. I have just taken photography more seriously since I have switched to digital. My profession has always been associated with pohtography in one way or another. Any criticism I receive will be well appreciated.
I saw a peanut stand, heard a rubber band,
I saw a needle that winked its eye.
But I think I will have seen everything
When I see an elephant fly.

Very sad and thought prevoking. A very dignifying tribute to this young soul. But, I take comfort in the fact he is with out Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Carolyn, I really like this one. I wonder what hand guided you to that spot with your camera and posted this for all to see. Gone but not forgotten comes to mind. Excellent composition and coloring. I put it in favorites.
