I think it is the rare porucpinas stickumus. First one I have seen in pink Dr. Quinn. It is so clear and the needles are so distinct. I could be telling a little white lie too. Great post.
It is a beauty Adriana - and you have placed it perfectly. Colours really glow.
It looks similar to or New Zealand Rata (Metrosideros) tree flowers - they are mainly red varieties and a few yellow but I have never such a glorious pink like this.
Please take from me for granted Adriana, that in a Dutch Zoo no 'rare porucpinas stickumus' can be found. Have to agree that they are very rare indeed as the only known place in the world where it has been found, is in the imagination of our dear friend Tick, lol.
