Yet another of the beautiful sculptures/water fountains that you see around Sedona. It's obviously a very artsy place and brings a very calm feeling to the soul when there. I hope you enjoy this post. Thanks for stopping by. Anita

She's a beauty, Anita. I'm enjoying the light and shadows dancing all over her. It is a wonderfully soothing place and your photos bring back fond memories. Thanks! - Patty

What an interesting sculpture! You've really captured it well with such clear rich color. I like the way you focused on the subject and not included too much background. Good light and shadow, but I might have tried to lighten just the face shadow just a pinch to bring out more detail.

What a beautiful shot my friend! Lovely shadows and colours.I wonder if its a wood carving or copper maybe? I cant tell from here..my eyes are shot..LOL...but I like that you snapped this photo...its a bit different and very enjoyable, but I imagine it was wonderful to sit and listen to the trickle of that water...I love the sound of that. I need a beautiful something or another in my yard...we have a small creek in the back, but I cant hear it from my house:( thank you Anita for your photo...I'm so glad you are back! Hug..Verena

I would love to have just such a fountain. It is a beautiful one, isn't it? The maiden is so serene, the colors are soothing, Thanks for posting this one.

Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel. -Josemaria Escriva

Great capture Anita. I am partial to turquoise, and the other colors go so well with it. This is an incredible sculpture. Love to see it in person. I have a place for it in my yard.

lovely sculpture Anita! I would like to see her face but I can see why you photographed her from that angle - the shadow makes a nice pattern across her shoulders. I like any sculpture that incorporates a water feature too - very tranquil! Patti

Anita, I think you've captured fantastic form in this one, I love the statue its self the colours are great but the shapes in the snap I find make the capture. Why don't you use an application like embossed or photocopy, they would really make the shapes stand out, if you have psp 9 or photo shop of course. But love what you have done with it great post thanks for sharing it.

Nice job, Anita. I love Sedona, and this statue does capture its calm quality. I like the bright foliage behind the statue and the black borders, too.

Hey Anita

You tell those guys in Sedona that when they get bored with this sculptures/water fountain they can ship it off to me. I know, it'll be a big sacrifice but hey, what are friends for.
