Ice plant is a ground cover and the first time I saw it was on the side of the highways in California. Never thought it would be in Texas too. Now I see it everywhere and it's a wonderful groundcover. Enjoy and thanks again for taking the Colorado tour with me, I hope you enjoyed it and I appreciated everyone's comments and input. Have a great day. Anita

So that is what they are called. I have taken shots of them in my yard ad can never remember what they are. Really a nice image Anita.

The name ChuPat is derived from my nickname Chuck and my wife of 34 years name Patti. Her photography will appear on Caedes as well from time to time. I consider myself an advanced amature not anyway close to being a professional. I have just taken photography more seriously since I have switched to digital. My profession has always been associated with pohtography in one way or another. Any criticism I receive will be well appreciated.

This is yet another pretty Photo, though i thyink i was spoilt with the poppy. I don't like this flower as much but the picture is still very good especially when it seems to be brimming with pollun. Thanks for sharing

I enjoyed being along for the ride through Colorado also..thanks.. and this photo is so sweet with the blossoms lifting their faces to the uppper left of the pic where the sun is shining and creating the shadows on the greens from the flowers themselves...everyone has said, and I agree that the clarity is exceptional here, as well as the color...I was just especially touched with the way you composed this so that even the background is clear and crisp. :)PJ
