This is taken looking West into downtown Houston over the Bayou. Sadly the bayou is always brown, not blue like pretty scenes ;) It was an overcase day so the colors here are actually more true than when the sun is shining. Thanks for stopping by. Anita

Kinda reminds me of Detroit - big buildings and brown river - makes me feel homey.
This is a great shot Anita. I like the angle you captured the scene at as well as the different things encompassed from the man made buildings to the trees. Thanks for sharing.

Your vantage point worked out well for this shot, Anita... Such a contrast between the modern city buildings and the lush greenery and waterway of the bayou. Very nice!

All those bldg. are splendid, what I this way typical find be, all rather new bldg., but the balustrade along water, has an old-fashioned design.

So when I actually visit Houston, I won't need a map. Thanks for the tour. I think the colors of the buildings etc. make up for the lack in the sky.

Great shot and excellent angle Anita! - it really shows the buildings off well. I especially like the bush in the foreground which frames the picture well. Patti

i'm not sure if it's the angle, the lighting, or just the buildings themselves, but this looks like a scale model. very nice composition.

I like the way you used the shrubs to frame the cityscape. The bayou looks green to me.
