It's not the most popular color by any means, red is, but this golden colored bougenvilla is a bit unuaual and this will be one of the last blooms for this year. They really like it hot. Enjoy and thanks for stopping in. Anita

It's all about perspective and perception.
I'm sure you know what they are because I never heard of them. They are an unusual color. I like earthtones anyway, so this works well for me. Nicely done.

Wonderful dof in this image, Anita. I like the frame color which makes the background look light purple instead of gray. That front bloom is staring us down and is the centerpiece of this creation. Thanks.

Now this works. The bouganvilla bloom is nice and sharp, the contrast of color between the yellowish orange and the grey background is good. The bg is well blurred. The only thing I might want different is a bit more blurring in the stem below - or even to have it greyed out completely like the rest of the background for a real snap effect. anne :-)

We had a huge red bougainvilla bush, but I got tired of it ambushing me with its sharp needles every time I walked by! Man, they are deadly. It became a case of "it or me," and I won. That spot is now occupied with something more human-friendly.

This is the first time I have seen bougenvilla is any color other than the dark pink. This is well framed and has lots of detail. Well done.
