Now you know what Silk is protecting ;) Topanga is going to be a mommy in May and Silk is by her side constantly, very protective. It's the first time my friends have put the 'parents to be' together and it seems to be working very well. Thanks for coming by again to see these beauties. These are the last of the llama shots for this go around ;). Have a great day and know that you are appreciated. Anita

aww i like todays little story about the llamas, hopefully Topanga will have a cute little baby llama and they will live happily together! I still think they are a strange looking creature, like they have been "thrown togedther" , and he looks totally wierd standing on his back legs from behind! Great posts Anita

Wow, I think Topanga is even prettier than Silk and she has that motherly glow about her, too. Great shot of the two side by side!

What a knock-out shot of the happy and expectant couple, Anita! I hadn't realised llamas were so darned BIG. (Your other two shots of the male standing on his hind legs, makes him look like he goes upwards forever.) Wonderful shot and its clarity makes it easy to see ma's & pa's expressions and the mixture of different furs. Your own enjoyment of these animals reflects in your photographic captures of them. Terrific!!!!

Very nice shot, a handsome pair...sorta. If I were there I would spit on them before they did it too me. Tell them I said ptooey. I just don't trust them critters when I'm around them and they start looking at me funny.

What a lovely couple! I still have a hard time telling myself that word "Dignified" has no meaning to a Llama! Because - as soon as look at them - I think - "they look so Dignified and Wise, and Proud"! LOL! Great photo, Anita,
