The Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building was a United States federal government complex in Downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States. On April 19, 1995, at 9:02 am the building was the target of the Oklahoma City bombing, which killed 168 people, including 19 children in a daycare. Note that the smaller chairs one sees in the photos are for the children.

Larry, although more than 25 years ago, this terrible act still wounds the soul like a dagger. The ex-Army soldier and security guard Timothy McVeigh killed 168 innocent people, including 19 children, and destroyed the lives of their family and friends.

No wonder that this act was considered as worst act of homegrown terrorism in the history of the U.S.A.

Thanks for another touching post!
