Lucane cerf-volant "Lucanus cervus" is a species of beetle in the family Lucanidae, subfamily Lucaninae, of the tribe of the genus Lucanus Lucanini and living in Europe.

Because of its shape and relative large seize, in my country it's called a 'flying deer' (in the Dutch language of course, lol).
