I saw this bicycle while we walked throught the second district of Vienna and liked its colors and how nice it looks to this wall. I decided not to clone out the eaves gutter and the poster, since it gave the image more life. I hope you also see it that way.

It is indeed very nice against that wall, the colors all blend really well.
Personally i would like to see it without the poster and the eaves gutter, just to see the difference. I think it would look "cleaner" which does not necessarily mean better... LOL

Yes I agree Sabine! Sometimes you need to leave things in that are easy to clone out - they do add life to a picture! It was very considerate of the cyclist to leave the bicyle in such an appropriate place creating the contrasting colour scheme! Well done on spotting this photo opportunity and capturing it so well!

This is a really great shot. Good eye! Congratulations, I might have walked right by this. I think I agree about the gutter, although I might have not put it at the very edge of the frame. I would have cropped the half of the poster on the left, however. To my eye, both things tend to take my eyes off the page in each direction -- away from the bike. The gutter probably wouldn't do that if it were placed a little further into the frame.

Well, I'm surprised that it stayed so pink, but you must have been very good and only looked at it and took it's pic...it's a nice study in contrasts and unity all at the same time. Nicely done :)

Sabine, you're right as it's part of the real life. By not cloning out everything this image stayed interesting. Love the surprising contrast too. Well done. Regards, Cornelius

Nice pic, good color, great wall enhanced by the bike! And the bike isn't even chained to anything! Love this shot.
