Sabine, it's still amazing to me. Even on holidays your uploading posts to Caedes, and more amazing is that it aren't images of a poor quality. Can't really understand! Thanks anyhow for this wonderful post. Enjoy your holidays!!! Regards, Cornelius
Looks like autumn in Admont. The nicest part of this composition is the angle at which you made it and then of course, the lovely yellow leaves against the bright blue sky balance the solid colored stone statue which appears to be the focal point of the image with the wonderful sunlight on the saints face. Nicely done yet again, Sabine.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

My 'puter crashed the other day so I'm trying to get my new one up and running. ;-( This new OS (Vista) is going to take some getting used to. Sorry I haven't been commenting as much as I would like to. ;-)

I was going to comment that I thought that the faces were blown out, but the more I looked, the more I realized that all the features are there and that it's just a part of the whole art of this piece you've taken. Well done, Sabine!!
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
