With the two heads I assume it's not looking for a unicorn. Love the gold against the blue. You really outdid yourself on this one Sabine. Just great detail.

Well, two heads are better than one, and it's nice to see that old axiom confirmed.

The texture comes out mighty fine in this golden light for sure. Great detail shot.
Next time i must give this place a real good look. Now i only saw the front entrance and lacked the time for more close up work, and the gardens behind it.
It is a bit of a shame that you may not take pictures of the inside.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

A lovely shot. Elegant in its simplicity.

Excellent!
I have taken a picture of this very same eagle almost in the same frame as yours. With a pathetic lens and in my poor hands, the result has been so awful I dare not even show it to anyone, let alone uploading it! :-(
