I never pay too much attention to croci, but this is such an outstanding capture of them that I see how stunningly beautiful they are from the inside out! Wonderful, excellent photograph!
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Please know that I enjoy your work even though I don't always get to comment. I try to look at (and enjoy) all your new posts and always appreciate the time you take to stop in at my gallery as well. Have a happy day ;) Anita
Just love this Hilde. I've never really examined this flower that closely before, mainly because it's still pretty cold by the time they appear around here....great composition and I love the way you handled the presentation.

Stunning. I love also how you have chosen to frame this. Not alot of thick and thin lines to distract from the image. Just the plain black background so that all you see is the flower.

Oh, this is really lovely work Hilde. A great DOF, something I'm always struggling to obtain, and the contrasting background makes the flowers almost stand out like 3D! Great lighting too, showing off the rich purple.
Nice to see someone else has crocuses out in flower - I thought me and Kristof were the only ones;o) Beaoootiful:)

Steve.

Reg told me once that by using an odd number of subjects instead of even you can create a dynamic that really adds life to your photo. I guess this magnificent photo really proves it. Amazing display of vivid colors - surely the best of all flower captures in new images gallery!
OK Hilde, you clearly have taken one of the clearest and beautiful shots of these lovely flowers that I have seen, here or anywhere on the internet. I am amazed at the beauty and your talents are wide open. Keep them coming. Thanks,
