Sorry Peter, you're way off base here. It's an alien crystal, half organic & half inorganic, being held in the palm of a God's hand. And in the interior we see another galaxy being born. Beautiful job on this & straight into my faves.

mythica...I believe you may be correct. I know there's a problem with the temporal contraction shield...thus the discharges around the lower portion of the portal. Those Inverse bracket normalisers did the trick in keeping the universe from collapsing. Thank Gawd!

Great structure and very substantial .

Great image... correct me if I'm wrong, but is the gate not slipping backwards in time? It seems as though the energy leakage is triggering a reactive force, but this is just a guess. Hard to diagnose without examining the seals at the back, of course.

Great image except that I would really like this a lot better without the text. Especially since I'll only see part of it if the top is hidden by the menu bar. (It might miss. Annoying anyway.) I name my desktops according to the names of their current images, but just as with people and cats, I don't like them to have their names permanently tattooed on. (Though it might help in the case of humans - I'm terrible with names.)
