Those are either drops of fluid or air bubbles (in which case, you turned the image upside-down, you sneaky Pete), but I'm thinking fluid. Whatever it is, it looks quite viscous, with a thick stickiness to it, evidenced by the elongation of some of the drops... something plain water doesn't normally do. Is it maybe sap in the bole of a tree?

Well Wendell I believe it to be a superb macro photo of your tongue first thing in the morning lol.No is it water droplets on fungi if not it I don't have a clue but I will say thank for getting my imagination going again and the is a great looking photo with lovely textures and great sharp detail my friend.
It looks like some sort of oozing fungi! I can't say that I would want this on my pizza, even if I do love mushrooms!! Awesome shot Wendell. Best of luck to you:)
