This is the same place as seen in an earlier photo but from a different angle. Wipe all thoughts of seeking shade under the shelter of the willow as the ducks have claimed the territory as their own. I have seen grown men flee in terror as the ducks chased them from the scene and would have gladly photographed the image if I wasn't among them. We finally stopped three towns over before returning timidly to our homes agreeing never to recount that dreadful day. Forget I said anything.

Enjoy and your comments welcomed.

You are terrorized by bees, ducks and whatnot Wendell. Nice capture of this beautiful shady spot. I like the tree and the flowers.

It looks like a very peaceful place for a afternoon siesta, Wendell - I guess You have to be a duck to enjoy it though. Good shot.

Nice place to have a picnic...just provide the ducks with some bread and you are good. Great looking shot, Wendell.

They're lined up almost like the wee ducks in a carnival shooting gallery, Wendell. If you'd approached them with that concept in mind, though, taking an entirely different kind of shot at them, you 'd likely been driven off by a flock of little old lady environmentalists. Ya just can't win, eh?

That beautiful scene isn't all that ducky now Wendell - it's the ducks turf and they're going to defend it vigorously - great shot and comical narrative as well!!!:-):-):-)!!!

A wonderful capture and like all the resting/sleeping ducks, marvelous colours. I can just picture it in my mind of those feathered friends standing their ground. Weeping Willows are great to look at but their saps not good for your cars
