This is the newly placed tribute to Willie outside the Austin City Limits studio. Like him or not...ya gotta love him! It was unveiled on 4/20/12 ...at 4:20 PM... (whatever that means!)

I actually have a Lot of Respect for his Musicianship... and that Poor Martin that he's Played holes into! I'm impressed at How he's taken the Nylon string into his Genre, and Been as Successful with it! Nice catch of the Statue, I like the Lighting and the Tree background! I would have been Tempted to put a Coffee can, at His feet...

To me, Willie Nelson belongs, amongst other famous C&W artists, to the category 'Old Friends'. It's great that he got this reward for enjoying a lot of friends, all over the world, with his songs and music.

I very good take of that statue, it has a good likeness of him, like him or not he sure has made an impact in the music world. Some years ago, I camped out for 3 days, and was able to enjoy a country music fest, that he was at, that was pretty darn cool, thanks for the memories this brought to my mind. Tigs♥ =^..^=
