This is very cool . I love the effects on this it is very dramatic .
The photo tells a story perhaps of a man thinking of what has been and what is yet to come. Excellent post !

Very cool shot. Reminds me of when my Dad was dying of Vascular Dementia and was able to come home...turned out to be about a week before he died. You could see it in his face. Even though he hardly knew anyone anymore except my Mom and was forgetting how to do simple things like swallow. Still, you could tell he knew he was home, although he couldn't say so.

So where's he been, Dan? Been around the world, but loves his arm chair best? Have you done a similar image to this one. It seems familiar to me. I like the effect you used that blurs the fact that he is not a great housekeeper. Fine detail. Love the color tones.

Another perfect image to stimulate the imagination, Dan.

See by the above comments, that you've succeeded in doing this very well.

Very well done, again!

regards, Cornelius.

Well done, indeed! Dan, you have a great ability to pull out your subjects personality, even in their surroundings. The fact that the post work is so dramatic says a lot.

Excellent work on this capture, Dan. Great use of the lighting and shadows to create this evocative scene. The only thing missing is the music he's listening to.
