I've been twiddling with this one off and on for a couple of weeks now. It took a bit to get the effect I was looking for, but here you have it. Enjoy.
Thanks for visiting and even more for the comments. -mike-

I used to try these images but I had to give way to the masters..just like the excellent photographers here...you are all artists on an extraordinary level...I feel privileged to look at all your creations...
Artists, hmmmm, such a general term. What is an artist, or art for that matter? Well we know art is completely in the eyes of the beholder; it's just a matter of how many beholders consider it art as to how popular it is, I think. Creativity is a funny beast. I played music professionally for many years and I learned a few things about creativity and art. Learning the technical aspects of one's chosen art form may or may not be important. It can actually be a hinderance in some cases. I think some jazz is soooooo technical that it looses the human aspect at times. It is technically awesome, but is it art? I have played blues harmonica since I was 12 years old (40+ years now) and pay absolutely no attention to the actual notes I am playing. It is completely by feel and applying the 'licks' I've invented and learned from the masters over the years. My keyboard playing on the other hand requires a good technical knowledge and well practiced fingers, but it can get in the way. My best keyboard playing, I think, is when I close my eyes and play from my heart leting what my fingers have learned execute what I feel. [snaps fingers like the old beatnicks]
One last comment. I am not a fan of rap or hip-hop music, actually I absolutely hatted it when it came into being. But it has lasted. Which tells me that it is not all crap, I'm the one who is missing something. I've since learned to appreciate the art form, although still not a big fan, and let art be art.
