Both are cool but I'm a black BG fan. This does show off more detail though. Good one Mike........now start sharin' some smoke. ROFL

i have enjoyed both of them , i cant pick between them, the black one is perhaps more trippy, but this one seems purer and the details are clearer. either way i agree with john.. start sharin some smoke! haha!!

Life is the pits sometimes, but God and your friends are always there to help you through it.
Myself, I prefer the black version, it's cleaner & has more dramatic appeal. However, I admit I love a white background fractal, they're very different & in a class all by themselves.
I think, with this particular flame maybe more of a grayish BG ? To play up the smokey look of your fractal. To me, for the color blue here, I think the white might be a bit too stark. Other than that, I think it has a great shape & I do like that shade of blue, I hope you use it again.
