This is an Experiment and only an experiment. Had this been a true emergency you would have been instructed to view a real photo and give uplifting and complimentary accolades. As it is, this requires the viewer to only give his honest opinion and then move on to the next image:):)Taken above Berkeley,Ca. in the East Bay hills along Grizzly Peak Road looking out over the bay to the west.Just fiddlin:)

The foreground is a bit distracting Bruce...I like the scenery over the top of the shrubbery..but the greens seem to detract!

The city background looks amazing!

I think it looks like a painting where you donīt paint every detail just concentrating on the big picture.

Well looking at this piece before enlarging i think no,but enlarge and it is very nice artistic looking shot.Plus the scene as lots for the eye to feast on too.So finally i must say 9/10 to you well done.

I think you need to explain what you're trying to achieve,Bruce.
It seems to be a sort of dreamscape, so adding contrast and reducing noise may not be appropriate.
The foreground is maybe too dominant if you're trying to focus attention on the bay bridge, but it could be darkened or crop off about half of it.
All depends on what your goal is.

It has a painterly look, but the foreground is distracting, like OB said. It also looks like it was a rather gloomy day when this was taken.

I like the gloom and the almost-industrial feel to this, with that white line of clouds. This is a view of the area that almost no-one gets to see. The green in front would be interesting in and of itself...looks like those kinds of very nice homes that I'd wish I owned!

A great and outstanding capture. Really beautiful and so natural shot, Bruce. Love it.

A bit over the top BB. I think Norton has gone berserk.

A great vantage point to take in the sights and view of the city. The post work creates a painterly look in the scene.
