So, in San Francisco is a well established and somewhat famous school for girls know as The Hamlin School - Here. I worked there recently and learned while there that a scene from the movie The Princess Diaries with Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews was filmed on site. Inside, the decor and woodwork is fabulous and beautiful. I took a few shot's of the interior but the lighting was not cooperating with so much bg light coming from windows and the skylight. So here I decided to manipulate an image of one of the staircases. I hope you like my experiment:) Thanks for all your kind comments:)

I have watched that movie on TV here!...you made it look like a grand sketch Bruce...I am surprised you kept your eyes on 'just' a staircase ..in a girls School!!!...☺ lol

Bruce, your manipulation has worked out very well. I have never seen a school staircase with such dignity and style. Honesty requires me to say that when I had a schoolgirl, I wouldn't haven been felt somewhat at ease.

Very artistic not for me but very clever piece with a great effect you applied which gives this scene nice textures and enhance the detail in the stair way .Plus the frame work you applied gives a nice feel to this scene too.Not to forget very good composition to this capture Bruce.
