Thanks Tigs for telling me about Photomatix Pro5. I used it on this image then took it to Photoscape and lightened it slightly. Picture taken at Pescadero beach,Ca. a few years ago. Hope you like how this turned out:) I originally thought this was Pacific Grove, Ca. but I remembered it was elsewhere so I changed the title:)

Stunning scene, I don't understand the procedure that was done after the shot was taken, but I really like the result. A unique view and excellent result. Bravo.

Bruce, the spot (Pescadora) where this one is taken is less important to me.
The (photographic) result is what counts for me, and this well edited/tone mapped image/composition is striking.

Hey Bruce, You got very good results using that program, It really brought out the scene so well. Oh and back in the day Pescadero beach was one of my hangouts. It was my favorite beach, and I would look out back of the house, and see if I could see fog laying on the mtns. and if not I would drive to the beach. Thanks for the great memory, some fun times for sure. tigs=^..^=

fan of the software myself, you really got some nice color, contrast. it really does bring out the highlights and shadows. well done. would have been interesting to see it in a long exposure with the water melting in a wispy look. next time? :)
