Sue and I went to Bear Valley Mountain LINK resort last weekend and of all things snow-shoed!! First time ever for me and the snow was piled high!!!! Here's one scene that seemed to photograph well. Taken with my Galaxy S6 Active. Not to bad for a phone camera. Processed slightly in AutoHDR2.1.8. Enjoy:)

Great result for a cell phone, camera, Buddy, the more that in such conditions an UV-filter is desirable, but it can't be attached to the lens of a cell phone camera. Think that the somewhat cloudy conditions were helpful to you.

I've been snowshoeing many times. How did you like it?
In Alaska, during one of the winter carnivals, they play snowshoe softball. Imagine running base to base in snowshoes! Laughs ... too funny. :)

This really is a superb image, and I would not have guessed a cell phone was used. They actually do a great job at least the newer ones do. I do like this one, it has a dramatic feel to it, bravo!tigs=^..^=

Bear Valley Mountain Resort is along highway 4 in the Sierra's. Highway 4 goes from just west of us here in Walnut Creek to the central part of the Sierra Nevada mountains, approximately 185 miles. The road is closed near where we were for the winter and at the closure gate the snow on the highway is abut 11'-12' high right now!!! Very beautiful:)
