Bruce, in your previous entry to this very fine series I mistakenly assumed that the birds on the rocks were seagulls and that they were (in a jokingly way) having a convention. However, they are pelicans. I now see that they are are holding two separate conventions.
I wonder if they share the outcomes of these conventions, 😁
