Bruce, although I know there's no connection/relation with your image and THIS SONG I couldn't prevent that the song came into my mind when reading your title.
I'm still puzzling which function this brick wall still has after remodeling the office building. So an intriguing image with a lot of textures what makes me curious, Buddy, 😁 !

I agree, Bruce. Revealing the original brick, and then checking all the joints for crumbling and repointing them so the whole wall lasts for years, it really shows the character of the structure. Those extended stacks of six layers of bricks are a nice feature, what architectural historians call an "architectural shadow", and may possibly have been installed to make the base of the wall stronger than normal. Whatever the case, it certainly looks very industrial and very cool. Thanks for the history, Bruce.
