Bruce, a very good idea from you to capture this meteorological phenomenon. Like everyone, I've seen a lot of different cloud formation, but this one is a very special and rare one to me, Buddy.

If there had been more of a wind up there, these stratocumulus might easily have arranged themselves into lines, called "cloud streets", also formed by the same method by cumulus clouds.
Cloud photos are some of my favorites because, more often than not, they add such character to an otherwise blah capture.
