Making silk out of a sows purse. I rendered this before resizing for full screen, so I improvised in Photoshop by using multiple layers and flipping the flame horizontally. I will eventually re-render the original at full size, but for now, some nice gold gilded leaves!

What is it with you fractalphiles tonight..you guys are on a definite roll. While the photographers go out to play the fractal mice will play...this is the third great fractal I've seen in a row..and my fractal fave file is fast becoming the biggest one on my hard drive. I like the combined use of fractals and Photoshop. I think they work hand-in-hand together when the right person is pressing the buttons...great job !! :)

Beautiful image! The soft colours immediately caught my eyes. Your hard work paid off with this extraordinary pic. =)

Terrific job. Great colours and depth. The turquoises are especially good - I think that can be a hard colour to give richness too, but this is superb.

At first, the almost-but-not-entirely-symmetrical look threw me. Then I scrolled down to see the rest and things settled into clearly-not-symmetrical and sorted themselves out. I like the way that non-symmetry gives it an organic, plant-like look.

If there was one thing I'd say, it would be that some of the details - mostly the dark black (?) details in the upper leaves look a little broken/lacking in clarity. But that could be my monitor and is minor in any case.

Look forward to seeing the original, of course, but this one is excellent in its own right.

I am honoured to be listed as a friend or to see an image of mine as a favourite, but I keep lists of neither. This helps me appreciate images uploaded by strangers as well as friends. Please understand that a failure to reciprocate in kind indicates a lack of appreciation for neither gesture nor work.

It has such a gentle and fragile quality about it. The light sparkling on each leaf is wonderful, too! Your choice of colors is perfect - almost a study in blue. Excellent work!

This isn't the average fractal.

Complex and elegant with a beautiful and subdued color palette, it's pure poetry. Amazing work.
